Shawnee Alliance Church is dedicated to developing future pastors and church leaders. We believe that experiencing ministry first hand in a healthy church environment is vital to the ministry preparation process. The Church Leadership Academy focuses on creating intentional experiences through directed internships. Interns will experience the joys and frustrations of ministry alongside experienced pastors who have launched many into ministry.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

At Shawnee Alliance our purpose is to transform lives through the love and power of Jesus Christ. The goal of the Church Leadership Academy is to develop Kingdom-minded church leaders who are focused on making disciples locally and abroad.

Those who are accepted into the Church Leadership Academy can expect to:

Spend 10 weeks ministering alongside experienced pastorsInteract with and lead fellow interns for large projects
Interact with and lead fellow interns for large projects
Develop and sharpen professional skills through intentional experiences created for each individual intern
Experience practical ministry
Face challenges in a safe environment focused on learning
Add a key component for resumes
Experience God through ministry in a supportive environment
