Our Story

The beautiful story of Shawnee Alliance began as a vision to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this community as a new church plant. It continues as an ongoing narrative, detailing the faithfulness and power of Jesus to transform our community; one individual at a time.


We Are…

People. Imperfect. Broken ... but forgiven and transformed. We are followers of Jesus.


We Serve… 

...a good and perfect God.  A God who laid the foundations of the stars and brought forth the secret places. A God who formed our inmost being; who knows every hair on our heads, and all the days of our lives. A God who loves us and made provision for us through His son, Jesus of Nazareth.






What We Believe


The Savior:
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin.

The Bible:

The Bible is the inspired word of God, inerrant as originally given, and is a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind.

The Trinity:

There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Church:

The Church consists of all persons who have believed in the name of God's only son, Jesus of Nazareth ... and have confessed that He is Savior and Lord.

The Healer:

Jesus is in the business of healing the sick, the broken, etc. We are His followers and endeavor to be like the Master.  God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us and so we pray for healing (spiritual, physical, emotional) for His people continuously, through whatever form that may take (doctors, friends, counselors, miracles, etc.).

The Coming King:

We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive to Himself all who have placed their hope and trust in Him.

The Gifts:

God has given gifts in varying degrees to all His children and they are meant to be used to serve others and reflect the goodness and majesty of the gift-giver.
